A friend of mine had mentioned that there was a website that allowed its members to write and vote for articles and stories... and that there was some sort of prize/financial reward involved for those who were voted the most in a month.

Thats how I found ya ;)

Actually I found it in a very similar way... friend of mine showed me when I was over at his house, and I joined when I got home.

I found people inspire searching on the net for inspiration of my own! I liked the stories, and while I havent had much happen to me that has been devastating I thought I might be able to give people living proof that it is possible to succeed in unlikely ways if you try.

I will come back here again to see new members hopefully.

I might as well jump on the bandwagon here since im still awake at this hour of night!

I found out about this site from the therapist who runs the group I attend weekly. She told me it might be a good way to express myself among others who have overcome hardship, or succeeded and shared etc.

So far I am liking it alot.

I found people inspire by accident one day - when I was searching the net. I have loved to read all the experiences of others that I couldnt imagine living through. People are truly heroic. Something else I noticed about the site - the little ads in along the side change depending on the story you are reading and its subject matter - thought that was kinda cool.

Amazingly enough, I found PeopleInspire through a child who comes to the breakfast club every morning. She had printed out one of the stories on this site to bring in for her contribution to show and tell in school Wonderful!

I found PeopleInspire via pc search regarding life skills, and stress management. When I started reading the most remarkable stories - I encountered a very simplified one - with a very deep message. This one inspired me to write my own.
